Korean rice wine also known as “drunken rice”. It is actually brewed, not distilled by adding nuruk (a combination of whole grain grits/flour and active fermenting yeasts) to par-cooked rice that is then allowed to “brew”. It is unfiltered which lends to the “milky/cloudy” consistency and is usually sweetened with sugar or fruits. Milky, sweet, and rich.
